Nonono, those are classic MB rims, you can't knock those. Cars like this are transportive and emotive. Putting on some insane ass modern racing wheel dulls the time-warping experience of the car (holy shit six liter 32-valve 80's euro V8) itself. Performance be damned, these look period correct and badass.

"Transportive and Emotive" sure is a funny way to say "it's ugly but thats okay". Why not just go with some nice classic MB rims like on those other examples above?

I agree with you; MB monoblocks are pretty hideous. HOWEVER, this is the ONLY (or one of the only) cars I feel that they are acceptable on. Even if I run the risk of having people assume I wear sequenced jeans.
